"Research of the Huntsman Cancer Institute sarcoma team has been dramatically accelerated by receipt of a CureSearch award."
"The support has enabled us to move quickly to advance from our pioneering work on how the EWS/FLI oncoprotein causes both uncontrolled cell growth and metastatic spread of Ewing sarcoma to apply these findings to help patients with Ewing sarcoma."
Mary Beckerle, PhD
Huntsman Cancer Institute at the University of Utah
At CureSearch, we are committed to doing whatever it takes to end children's cancer. That means supporting other research foundations and great research projects. We are proud to have introduced friends at the Gateway for Cancer Research to Dr. Jim Olson at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center. They’ve formed a new partnership to support groundbreaking brain cancer research.
SUPPORTING FAMILIES
Along with funding research, CureSearch is committed to supporting families and communities facing cancer today.
CureSearch hosts community events around the country. At Walks and Hikes, we honor children and families, and we rally communities in the fight against children's cancer. CureSearch also provides education and resources so that no child faces a diagnosis and treatment without a fully equipped team behind them.

INVESTING IN LONG, HEALTHY LIVES
CureSearch is committed to finding new, less toxic treatments for children with cancer. So more children survive and live long and healthy lives.
"At CureSearch, we know that only research cures children’s cancer. That’s why we are laser-focused on driving innovative research with the potential to reach children as soon as possible. The 15,780 children that were diagnosed this year deserve better: better treatments, better cures, better long-term health. We’re fighting for the future every child deserves and every parent dreams of."

CureSearch for Children's Cancer
At age 14, Cassidy was diagnosed with pituitary germinoma. After enduring 28 rounds of radiation and surgery, Cassidy was declared cancer-free. Thanks to the innovative treatment she received and the support and love of her family, Cassidy is a high school senior looking forward to college and a teaching career.
At CureSearch, we fight daily for kids like Cassidy, and for the families and communities that rally around them as they battle this devastating disease.
