Jen Salstrom, MD, PhD

Dr. Salstrom received her M.D. and Ph.D. from the University of California-Los Angeles and completed her clinical training in General Pediatrics as well as Pediatric Hematology, Oncology, and Bone Marrow Transplantation at the University of Colorado-Denver / Children’s Hospital Colorado. As a clinician and member of the Children’s Oncology Group, Dr. Salstrom enrolled and treated countless pediatric patients on clinical trials and she has experience in site-level aspects of clinical trial conduct. Dr. Salstrom also spent over 15 years conducting basic science and translational research and has expertise in a broad array of genetics and molecular biology techniques, including manipulation and transplantation of stem cells. Since joining Parexel in 2015, she has served as Medical Monitor for several phase I-III trials including first in human, 3+3 and Rolling 6 dose escalation, blinded and open label, as well as comparator and historically controlled studies. Her medical monitoring experience includes both adult and pediatric indications in oncology, hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, immunodeficiency, and rare disease
