Kelli Wright

National Director, Strategic Initiatives

Kelli Wright

As the sibling of a childhood cancer survivor, Kelli Wright is extremely tied to the mission, knows first-hand the critical need to fund accelerated children’s cancer research, and passionately brings the players in the pediatric cancer space together to work smarter and faster.

As the National Director of Strategic Initiatives, Kelli drives the strategic program of CureSearch by staying in tune with the barriers and pain points in pediatric drug development, learning from innovators in the industry, academic and regulatory space. She leads the Industry Advisory Council, the sole formal group of pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies in the pediatric oncology space.  In this role, Kelli executes stakeholder meetings to address obstacles and develop action plans to close the communication gaps and reduce duplication of efforts.

Kelli joined the CureSearch family on the event side, planning community events in the Northeast and recently celebrated nine years with CureSearch. Prior to CureSearch, Kelli worked as the Development Director for her local New Jersey Boys & Girls Club. In this role, she planned and oversaw all aspects of the development department and special events fundraising, spearheading new fundraising events as well as the opening of a new branch of the Club.

Kelli holds a Bachelor’s degree from Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania, and currently resides with her family in Charleston, South Carolina.
