Gordon Cohen currently oversees global clinical development of immuno-oncology agents in the GI space within the AstraZeneca (AZ) portfolio.  In addition, Gordon participates on an internal Pediatric Oncology Working Group at AZ that works across the entire AZ oncology portfolio and with external partners with a focus on developing new agents for pediatric cancer.

Prior to joining AZ in 2018, Gordon was a pediatric oncologist on faculty at Johns Hopkins – with a primary focus in pediatric hematologic malignancies.  Gordon also had a previous career on Wall St. before he began his medical training, spending 6 years as biotechnology equity research analyst covering large cap and small cap biotechnology companies at several Investment Banks.

Gordon received his Doctor of Medicine and Master’s of Public Health degrees from Johns Hopkins. Gordon received his Bachelor of Arts in economics from Cornell University.
