Bethesda, Md – Nashville based country duo Hadley Park has selected CureSearch for Children’s Cancer as the beneficiary of a portion of the sale from select event, merchandising and raffle purchases, to help raise awareness for children’s cancer, and increase donations that will drive research that finds cures and treatments.

Singer/songwriters Morgan Leigh Garner & Courtney Dashe, who formed the band in 2014, have a personal connection to children’s cancer. Morgan’s nephew, nine year-old Kaleb Leigh, is a two-time cancer survivor, and co-wrote their first single, “Things I’ve Learned,” which has been shared on social media by fellow country artists including Martina McBride & Rodney Atkins.

As part of their commitment to Kaleb, and the journey he endured during his cancer treatments, the pair has committed to donating the funds raised through various fundraising efforts throughout their “That’s Another Bottle of Wine Tour,” beginning on June 23 in California. The method of fundraising will vary based on location.

“The partnership with Hadley Park is really one of a kind,” said Tess Mattingly, senior manager, strategic partners for CureSearch. “Their personal connection to children’s cancer gives them a better understanding of the types of battles the 15,000 newly diagnosed young warriors face every day.”

“I first heard about CureSearch after my nephew’s second diagnosis of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL),” recalls Kaleb’s Aunt and singer/songwriter Morgan Garner. “I remember sitting in the kitchen with my sister-in-law, having a really hard conversation about the excruciating reality that is children’s cancer. Research is so horribly under-funded. These children are our future and they are dying. Something has to change… CureSearch is that change.”

A list of fundraising events will be available on their website.

For the June 23 event at Affina in Carmel, CA. Hadley Park will donate 10% of ticket sales, 50% of merchandise, 100% of raffle sales, and 50% of wine sales from the evening. To reserve your spot for this limited-seating event, email wine@dawnsdreamwinery.com or call (831) 659-2649.
