CureSearch Partners Honor Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

Year after year, month after month, our partners work with us to make a real difference for children’s cancer research and cures. September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and it was no exception. From check-ins to check out, our partners are giving back for the kids who so urgently need our support.

Our friends at Causely are featuring CureSearch as their charity of choice for check-ins during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Check-ins at local organizations have already contributed to life-saving pediatric cancer research. Read more about our work together.

“We are so excited to partner with CureSearch for Childhood Cancer Awareness month! As a leader in the children’s cancer research space, CureSearch is such a great partner for Causely members to support. We try to partner with organizations that are working hard to change people’s lives while focusing on a great cause – CureSearch is such a valuable partner for our September campaign,” said Melissa Kendrick, Vice President of Operations at Causely.

eBay partnered with us for a special week (September 9 – September 16) when CureSearch was the exclusive charity for their Give at Checkout program. Ebay is also encouraging supporters to sell on eBay on behalf of CureSearch throughout September in honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.

Iron Hill Brewery brewed up a special promotion to honor Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. CureSearch will receive $1 of every Vienna Red Lager and Pig Iron Porter beer that is sold at most Iron Hill Brewery locations. These are their ‘Gold’ award-winning beers from the Great American Beer Festival.

“At Iron Hill, community means everything, both inside and outside our walls. We have a talented, dedicated group of individuals who achieve great things every day, but there are many children who face some serious challenges and we want to be a part of the solution. This was our inspiration to partner with CureSearch 14 years ago and why we ask our team to help raise awareness and funds – totaling more than $260,000 to date.” said Kevin Finn, Co-Founder and Chairman of the Board at Iron Hill.

We are thrilled to have partnered with these incredible organizations and all of our year-long partners who help us push critical childhood cancer treatments. As a united team, we will continue to fund research and drive less-toxic cures for the kids who need them most. Because we’re all in this together – and together can we shape the future of childhood cancer.
