You may not know Ella yet – she is a great friend of Barbie® and is looking to visit our cancer fighting heroes all across the country. Through a partnership with Mattel, CureSearch for Children’s Cancer provides every young cancer fighter an Ella Doll. Since Ella Dolls are bald, they are a great way to help children better understand hair loss that is common among cancer patients.
My daughter, Atma, who has leukemia absolutely loves her bald Barbie. She plays with it all the time. We got a few more so she could give them out at the hospital to her other girlfriends with cancer and that was really special. – Naresa, Santa Fe, NM
Request an Ella Doll
**Due to high demand, our Ella Doll program is paused while we restock inventory. We are expecting new dolls from Mattel to arrive this fall/winter 2019. Please join our mailing list and follow us on social media to stay updated.**
CureSearch is only able to provide Ella dolls to the following children: children affected by childhood cancer, siblings of children affected by childhood cancer, and children whose parent/guardian is affected by cancer in the United States. CureSearch can only honor Ella Barbie requests from the parent/guardian of the childhood cancer patient, pediatric hospitals and/or patient services.
