The Survivorship Council was formed in February 2014 to build awareness and support for the unique issues cancer survivors encounter as a result of their treatment for childhood cancer. Council members are childhood cancer survivors, their siblings and concerned friends and peers, as well as young parents of children impacted by cancer, who share our desire to improve the long term health outcomes for childhood cancer survivors.
The Survivorship Council is currently working on developing survivorship education and resources for children, teens and young adults who have completed their treatment for childhood cancer.
