For the third year, Busy Bee shoppers can support childhood cancer research by rounding up their purchases this fall.
Since 2019, Busy Bee has partnered with CureSearch for Children’s Cancer to raise funds in their 14 award-winning travel centers throughout Florida and Southern Georgia.
Now through November 2021, customers can round up their gas, food and beverage purchase totals at Busy Bee stores to support CureSearch’s mission to end childhood cancer.
“Busy Bee is proud to be a sponsor for CureSearch! It’s our privilege to support such an incredible organization that’s work, mission and drive will benefit ALL of us. We are thankful for the brilliant and hardworking teams that work tirelessly to end childhood cancer!”
Elizabeth Waring, president of Busy Bee
Every day, 47 children are diagnosed with cancer – most of the current standard treatments they’ll receive were developed more than 30 years ago. One in ten children will not survive, and the majority of those who do will develop one or more chronic health conditions including secondary cancers, severe musculoskeletal problems and cardiovascular disease.
“We’re incredibly grateful for Busy Bee’s continued support of our mission. By engaging both employees and customers, the Busy Bee team plays a critical role in generating both funds and awareness for the urgent need that exists for new and better childhood cancer treatments.”
Tiffani Copeland, senior vice president of development and communications at CureSearch
