Arianna Destiny is a typical 13-year-old teenager finishing her last year of middle school. We have been involved with CureSearch for 10 years now with the first walk being the same year she finished her treatment. We walk each year so that researchers can find a cure and better treatments.
Arianna was diagnosed with Wilm’s Tumor a month before her 3rd birthday and completed her 28-week protocol of chemo and radiation. When she did her 3 month scans they discovered it had metastasized to her liver. By the end of her treatments, she had been given a total of 6 different types of chemotherapy drugs.
We are grateful and blessed that Arianna has been cancer-free for over 10 years! We are very aware of the side effects that she could face because of the treatments. We walk for Arianna and all the kids that have had to go through cancer treatments. We walk for a cure!
