Brave Barbie and Brave Ken help children better understand their hair loss, and act as friends through treatment and beyond.
“She's bald and beautiful just like our little warrior.”
Courageous Chloe’s Crew
Hair loss is a common side effect of many standard childhood cancer treatments.
Through partnership with Mattel, we're honored to provide Brave Barbie and Ken to pediatric cancer hospitals.
“We are so very grateful to have received these beautiful dolls to give to our patients. Many of us became misty-eyed when we first looked at the dolls because we know of the positive impact they will have on the families we serve.” Intermountain Healthcare
Do you work at a health system serving childhood cancer patients?
Brave Barbie and Brave Ken are not for sale. These dolls are provided at no cost directly to children and their families. We partner with hospitals and health systems for distribution. If you represent a hospital or health system that would like to learn more, please reach out to communityengagement@curesearch.org.
Spring 2026 Update
Thank you to every hospital and health system that applied during our Spring 2026 request period. The Spring 2026 distribution is now closed. Supply is limited, and we deeply appreciate your interest and support.
Looking Ahead to Fall 2026
We will reopen the request system Fall 2026 for U.S.-based health systems who care for childhood cancer patients. Please check back in September for more information.
