Through a partnership with Mattel, CureSearch for Children’s Cancer provides childhood cancer patients with a Brave Barbie Doll.
Hair loss is a common side effect of chemotherapy and radiation therapy treatments. Since the dolls are bald, they are a great way to help children better understand hair loss that is common among cancer patients.

“Thank you so much to CureSearch for Chloe’s new Brave Barbie! It’s bald and beautiful, just like our little warrior.”
- Courageous Chloe’s Crew

“We received the Brave Barbie dolls and are so very grateful to have received these beautiful dolls to give to our patients. I must admit, many of us became misty-eyed when we first looked at the dolls because we know of the positive impact they will have on the families we serve. ‘Thank you’ does not seem adequate in expressing our appreciation, respect, and admiration!”
- Intermountain Healthcare

The Brave Barbie is supported in-part by a generous grant from the American Legion Child Welfare Foundation, Inc.
