Compensation Transparency
At CureSearch for Children’s Cancer, we believe you should know what a role pays before you invest your time in applying. Open and consistent information about pay helps everyone on our team do their best work for children and families facing cancer, and it is part of how we build a workplace based on fairness and trust.
What we share
- Pay range in every posting
- Each job posting includes the pay for the role, stated as a specific amount or as a range with both a starting and an ending figure. This applies to full-time and part-time, hourly and salaried roles, and to both internal and external postings.
- Benefits and other compensation
- Each posting describes, in general terms, the benefits and other compensation programs the role is eligible for.
- A good-faith estimate
- The posted range is our honest expectation of what we will pay for the role at the time we post it.
Your questions are welcome.
- Ask us anytime
- Applicants are welcome to ask about the pay range and benefits for a role at any point in the hiring process, and we will answer.
- Your pay history is your own
- We do not require applicants to share their current or past pay.
- Open conversations
- Members of our team may discuss their own pay, and we do not retaliate against anyone for doing so.
- Opportunities to grow
- We make reasonable efforts to let current employees in the relevant department know about promotion opportunities before we fill them.
How we set pay
Pay within the posted range depends on the responsibilities of the role, the skills, experience, and credentials a candidate brings, fairness relative to colleagues in similar roles, relevant market information, and the organization’s budget. We apply these factors consistently to every candidate and every role.
If you have a question about pay or benefits for an open position, please get in touch with Human Resources at careers@curesearch.org, and we will be glad to help.
Not Seeing the Right Fit Today?
Check back often. We post openings here as they become available, and roles at an organization our size can appear quickly. In the meantime, there is another way in: our volunteers help run events, support families, and extend our reach into communities across the country. Many of the people closest to our mission started exactly there.
Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion
CureSearch for Children’s Cancer exists to end childhood cancer. We know that goal comes within reach when many perspectives, experiences, and talents work side by side. The children and families we serve come from every background, and we are proud to build a team that reflects and respects the communities we care for.
We welcome people of every race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, age, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, ability, veteran status, family structure, and life experience. A workplace where every person is respected, heard, and supported leads to stronger research, deeper relationships with our donors and families, and a team that enjoys working together.
How we put this into practice
Fair hiring
We use consistent, job-related criteria and welcome applicants from a wide range of paths and backgrounds.
A welcoming team
We value kindness, curiosity, and respect, and we work to make sure everyone feels they belong.
Room to grow
We support learning and professional development so that people can build their careers with us.
Open listening
We invite feedback from our team and use it to keep improving how we work together.
